INSTRUCTOR, ORGANIZER & INDEPENDENT SERVICE PROVIDER POLICY

This policy is governed by and shall be interpreted in accordance with the Flortyme Foundational Operating Principles.

PURPOSE

Flortyme may collaborate with instructors, coaches, mentors, facilitators, organizers, presenters, performers, DJs, hosts, contractors, volunteers, and other independent service providers to support programs, services, events, workshops, social activities, educational opportunities, and community initiatives.

This policy establishes the framework governing such participation and relationships.

INDEPENDENT STATUS

Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, individuals participating in programs, services, events, workshops, or activities through Flortyme do so as independent participants.

Participation does not create:

• Employment

• Partnership

• Agency

• Joint venture

• Franchise

• Ownership interest

• Fiduciary relationship

• Authority to bind or represent Flortyme

Individuals remain responsible for their own business activities, professional obligations, legal compliance, taxes, insurance, certifications, licenses, and operating practices.

PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY

Instructors, organizers, presenters, facilitators, and service providers are responsible for:

• Their own instructional content

• Professional conduct

• Participant interactions

• Business decisions

• Professional qualifications

• Compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Flortyme does not supervise or control independent professional activities beyond organizational participation requirements.

PARTICIPATION OPPORTUNITIES

Flortyme may provide opportunities for independent individuals to participate in:

• Workshops

• Educational programs

• Social events

• Practice sessions

• Demonstrations

• Presentations

• Community activities

• Collaborative initiatives

Participation opportunities may be approved, modified, limited, or discontinued at the discretion of Flortyme.

ORGANIZATIONAL REPRESENTATION

No individual may represent themselves as speaking or acting on behalf of Flortyme unless expressly authorized.

Participation in a Flortyme activity does not imply authority to:

• Enter agreements

• Make commitments

• Establish policies

• Represent organizational positions

• Bind the organization contractually

USE OF NAME & BRANDING

Use of the Flortyme name, branding, logos, promotional materials, or organizational identity must be authorized by Flortyme.

Individuals may accurately reference their participation in Flortyme activities but may not imply endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, certification, employment, or authority beyond the actual relationship.

PARTICIPANT RELATIONSHIPS

Independent service providers are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and professionally when interacting with participants, members, guests, venue personnel, volunteers, and community partners.

Conduct inconsistent with Community Standards may result in restrictions on future participation opportunities.

COMMUNITY COMMITMENT PRINCIPLE

Independent service providers, instructors, organizers, facilitators, and contractors are subject to the Flortyme Community Commitment Principle.

Programs, reservations, Shared Floor Time opportunities, workshops, activities, and participation commitments already established shall not be displaced, cancelled, restricted, or diminished to accommodate subsequent requests.

PROPRIETARY MATERIALS

Independent service providers retain ownership of their own instructional materials, intellectual property, methodologies, content, and business assets unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Likewise, Flortyme retains ownership of its own organizational materials, branding, publications, policies, systems, and intellectual property.

INSURANCE & LIABILITY

Independent service providers remain responsible for determining whether they require professional liability insurance, business insurance, licensing, permits, certifications, or other protections appropriate to their activities.

Participation through Flortyme does not transfer such responsibilities to the organization.

VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers supporting Flortyme activities are also expected to comply with organizational policies, Community Standards, and participation requirements.

Volunteer participation does not create employment or compensation obligations unless expressly agreed in writing.

ORGANIZATIONAL RIGHTS

Flortyme reserves the right to:

• Approve participation opportunities

• Refuse participation requests

• Modify activities

• Establish participation requirements

• Restrict access

• Suspend participation privileges

• Discontinue collaborative relationships

where necessary to support organizational objectives, participant safety, venue requirements, legal obligations, operational needs, or community well-being.

INTERPRETATION

Where uncertainty exists regarding the interpretation of this policy, the Flortyme Foundational Operating Principles shall govern.

A commitment made is a commitment honored.
