FLOOR PRACTICE SPACE POLICY

Last Updated: June 2026

This policy is governed by and shall be interpreted in accordance with the Flortyme Foundational Operating Principles.

PURPOSE

Flortyme provides floor practice space to support learning, skill development, instruction, rehearsal, personal practice, and community participation.

This policy establishes the framework for reserving, accessing, and managing floor practice space while promoting fair access, responsible use, and community participation.

BOOKING ELIGIBILITY

Floor practice space may be made available to eligible participants, members, instructors, organizers, and approved guests in accordance with applicable membership classifications, pricing schedules, and participation requirements.

Access to practice space is subject to availability and compliance with all applicable policies.

MEMBERSHIP BOOKING WINDOWS

Practice space reservations may be made according to membership classification:

• Professional Membership: Up to 60 days in advance

• Studio Membership: Up to 30 days in advance

• Club Membership: Up to 14 days in advance

• Affiliate Membership: As otherwise designated by Flortyme

Booking windows provide earlier access to available reservations only and do not guarantee availability.

COMMUNITY COMMITMENT PRINCIPLE

Once Shared Floor Time, a reservation opportunity, activity, session, or participation offering has been designated, published, or made available to participants, it becomes a protected community commitment.

Established commitments shall not be cancelled, displaced, reduced, restricted, rescheduled, refunded, or otherwise altered to accommodate subsequent reservation requests, regardless of membership classification, booking priority, status, or financial consideration.

Priority booking privileges provide earlier access to available opportunities only and do not create the right to override existing commitments.

SHARED FLOOR TIME

To encourage participation and maximize community access, available floor time that remains unreserved seven (7) days prior to the scheduled date may be designated as Shared Floor Time.

Shared Floor Time may be published, promoted, scheduled, and offered to participants for shared use and community participation.

Once designated and published, Shared Floor Time becomes a protected community commitment under the Flortyme Community Commitment Principle.

ADMINISTRATIVE OVERRIDE

Subject to availability, an Administrator may authorize a late reservation request for floor time that remains genuinely uncommitted within the Shared Floor Time period.

Late reservation approvals may be subject to premium pricing, administrative fees, or additional conditions.

Under no circumstances shall existing Shared Floor Time commitments be cancelled, displaced, reduced, restricted, refunded, or otherwise altered to accommodate a subsequent reservation request.

Late reservations may only utilize floor space that remains available and does not interfere with established commitments.

RESERVATION LIMITS

Flortyme may establish reservation limits, scheduling restrictions, participation requirements, booking caps, or usage limits as necessary to promote fair access and effective facility management.

Reservation limits may vary by membership classification, facility, venue, activity type, or operational requirements.

CANCELLATIONS

Participants are encouraged to cancel unused reservations as soon as reasonably possible.

Repeated no-shows, excessive cancellations, misuse of reservations, or conduct that negatively impacts community access may result in restrictions, suspension, or modification of booking privileges.

FACILITY USE

Participants shall:

• Respect scheduled reservation times

• Maintain appropriate conduct

• Respect facilities, venues, equipment, and participants

• Follow applicable safety requirements and venue rules

• Leave practice areas in a clean and orderly condition

LIABILITY

Participants use floor practice space voluntarily and assume responsibility for their own conduct, personal well-being, and personal property.

Participation remains subject to applicable organizational policies, participation requirements, liability provisions, and safety expectations.

ORGANIZATIONAL RIGHTS

Flortyme reserves the right to establish, modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue floor practice space opportunities, reservation procedures, pricing schedules, booking windows, participation requirements, and operational practices as necessary to support organizational objectives.

Any modifications shall be implemented in a manner consistent with the Flortyme Foundational Operating Principles.

INTERPRETATION

Where uncertainty exists regarding the interpretation of this policy, the Flortyme Foundational Operating Principles shall govern.

A commitment made is a commitment honored.
